After Joan retired, she acted on an impulse to make a movie about a part of the Eastern European borderlands where her family had lived for countless generations--until the cataclysms of the first half of the 20th century ended their presence there forever. While she submitted to the yoke of working on this project on and off for nearly 20 years, she become the bubbie of five. Because of them she saw it through. She has no vocational ambitions.

Hiroki is retired from intense academic and marketing careers. He is now intense about researching, building and writing articles and books about WWII spy radios. He lectures frequently on radio related topics.

Collaborating with directors like Ryuhei Kitamura, Leslie Iwerks, Alejandro Brugués, Alek Keshishian, and Zalman King, he crafts visually compelling narratives.His storytelling extends to documentaries, including Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me for Apple+, which he shot over two years, and a Billie Eilish film for Disney+. Both showcase his talent for capturing celebrated figures with depth and authenticity. Slav Tsarynnyk

Slav has an array of managerial talents and experience. His mastery of languages including Polish, Ukrainian, Russian and English is nothing short of dazzling. Without Slav, we would not have known where we were, where we were going, or to whom we were speaking. He also did most of the Ukrainian and Russian translation of the dialogue.
